Today, I attended the ribbon cutting for RE Use it. They have revived the corner of Auburn/Watson, and now use this location as their drop off for clothing and household donations, that support our local non-profits. Additionally, Citrus Heights Water District will be having a public hearing Nov 13 to discuss the new rate adjustments for water.
I spend a lot of time jogging in our wonderful city, and all too often run past homes who's sprinklers settings are set to just keep running. Sadly, it is a huge waste of water and some folks seem to be completely unaware. So please, if your neighbor is guilty - its kind to leave them a note. Save Water - save resources.
