April 23-27

Lets start with business this week:

1. Stopped in to visit Mr. Bill VanDuker at All Star Printing.
Bill contributes much time and energy to the future & development of Citrus Heights, including Rotary. If you're ever interested in learning about some history of our community - he is a fun one to talk to. All Star Printing is a full service print shop, can do just about anything, and I highly recommend them for good quality printing and great prices !!  They can be found online at www.allstarprinting.com

2. We have several of the most beautiful Memorial Parks in our City. My favorite is East Lawn Mortuary and Sierra Hills Memorial Park on Greenback by Interstate 80.  Had a nice opportunity to meet with Lisa West this week, who explained some of the excting things happening...most notable is their "Privelege of Planning" presentation, focusing on the importance of getting your family involved in the process of advance planning. This is a free luncheon, with several upcoming dates available. If your interested, Lisa can be reached at 916.732.2020 and East Lawn can be found online at www.eastlawn.com

Around Town:

1. American River Parkway Half Marathon is tomorrow. For runners and walkers. I believe they still have entries available - pick up at www.fleetfeetsacramento.com

2. Who knew about Antelope Garden ??  If you're interested in ideas on creating your own water efficient landascape - Antelope Garden features 2 acres of low water use plants, trees, grasses, and water features.
Free admission - and is open this year from May 1 - October 31 (2nd & 4th Saturdays) 9a-3p
Address is 7800 Antelope Rd. North

For the Ladies:

Im headed to the bookstore today to pick up a book that has been recommended to me called 50 Shades of Gray. I understand it is a 3 book series of sassy adult romance that is hard to put down.  I cant wait !!

Have a Great Weekend !
